We already have sewing aka knitting.

Sewing and knitting is 2 separate things. Knitting is creating different stitches to create unique pieces of fabric.

Knitting stitches are used to make a fabric, while sewing stitches are used to connect two different fabrics and make sure they stick together tightly.

I would love to have sewing back in the game as I liked to use it in The Sims 2 when I was still playing that game.
