- My reasoning is that not ever player might want all of those chores, so that rules out an SP (although an SP would come with work clothes, that would be a plus). And we cannot be sure if they include an off/toggle in a free BG update, whereas Bust the Dust included one.
So either Kit or SP.
Definitely not a pack feature, I don't want to have to shell out 40 euro for gameplay that I don't even want, just because it includes lawn mowing as a side feature. (For example I don't really want GrT, but I would have happily bought the treehouse and children's bikes separately). - Fluteline24New SpectatorNothing that would force me to have it because I don't want boring play like that. :)
- GlacierSnowGhostSeasoned HotshotI would not want any of those as a forced base game update. They need to be optional.
- crocobauraSeasoned AceI am not into chores and would rather they gave us some more fun activities for our sims. I imagine if they added lawn mowing it would be similar to the dust bunnies and they are frankly annoying. I wouldn't mind it if they added an automatic lawn mower similar to the rumba vacuum. Similar with chopping wood, if it's something completely optional that we get to do once in a while to use the wood for fireplaces and fire pits, fine. It might also be OK if needed to use for the off the grid stoves. For water heating I am not even sure what that would mean in terms of gameplay. You press on a button on a boiler and you get warm water? I would much rather they made functional the old fashioned radiator they gave in the vampire pack. For pool cleaning, my sims never have their own pools and even if they did, I sure hope the pool comes with a hirable pool boy to maintain it. Anyway, I'd rather have a pool table instead.

- Woodchoping must be a mechanic for off-the-grid appliances.
- Water heating could be a mechanic that involves Sims interaction with plumbing items, triggering new situations and moodlets.
- Finally, even TS Freeplay has the pool cleaning gameplay. With Seasons it could be enhanced.
All options, of course, with toggle off. - Lawnmowing must be a already fixed gameplay mechanic.
- Briana2526Seasoned TravelerI would say all except chores because I like that the kids like to help but they can't really do a lot so chores might not really work.
- Redrogue60Seasoned HotshotTo be perfectly honest I could care less about out most of these as I see it as a waste of time for the developers.
The only way they would make the lawn mowing happen would be to make it very much like the vacuums from Bust the Dust which would be practically instantaneous which if I'm reading the umpteenth posts you have made about the lawn mowing subject correctly, that isn't what you are looking for, or the longer route which is to run it around like in real life and that would eat up a huge part of a Sims day based how long Sims take to do practically anything else. This won't add any interesting game play if implemented and would be tedious to participate in. If you have ever played Sims 2 they had a weed and hedge growth thing in it and trust me you had to hire the gardener to maintain a large yard and they would be at it for hours.
As for the Water Heater I wouldn't mind it as a decorative object but these aren't very dynamic objects in real life. Other than when they break they just passively sit and heat water. I have lived in my house since 2019 and I haven't touched it to do anything with it at all. So not exactly riveting game play. Again I don't think it would be a bad decorative object though.
I do think a case could be made for the wood chopping as apart of an Outdoor Retreat refresh. I think that pack needs a healthy refresh to make it more fun and adding wood chopping would enhance its rustic charm.
I don't think pool cleaning is an out of line request either. You could even have it as a service you can hire folks for
