Those sound so awesome, Danny. I will definitely be looking them up to see the faces you made for them. (I'm with you on making sure my vamps only change their face, not their clothes, when they switch back and forth.) May I ask why you have Claudia as a teen; is it because you've not read the book (the one that started the whole 'Lestat series' off? If so, you should really read the book, it's great. Plus, that first book gives you some great background on Lestat and really sets the entire series up for when Lestat, himself, takes over the narration. There's some serious He said, He said, between the first two books, as well as a great foundation between the differing points of view between the two men/vampires.
Out of the entire series (of which I've read the first 11, as well as the Pandora and Vittorio books), my two absolute favorites are the 3rd and 5th books: Queen of the Damned and Memnoch the Devil. I love Queen of the Damned because that's the book where
Anne writes her version of the origins of vampires. Memnoch, as well, is her version (as it relates to her 'Lestat universe' at least) of who the Devil is and what his personal purpose is in the grand scheme of life and death, as well as what Heaven and Hell are. I found both reads absolutely fascinating (many times).
I have read all the books, but it has been a while and should probably reread them soon.
I made Claudia a teen because the first time around, I made her a blond, white child but she couldn't be a vampire and those parts in the TV show are great moments to watch. So, this version (labeled 2024) is based more on the TV shows version. I tried to dress Claudia in "young" looking teen clothes (think of her on stage in that ridiculous dress performing). My sim Claudia seems to be drawn to Louie oddly enough without my prompting. I have the big karaoke machine so Lestat can improve his singing skills. He will also serenade Louie without being prompted. I love the autonomous things they do that fit my story.
In the books, I really liked Aaron Lightner, but they combined him and Michael Curry into one character in Mayfair witches, Ciprien Grieve. I hate that. Both were, IMO, important in their own way. Didn't Lestat become friends with Aaron after he tried killing himself in the dessert?
