Lucky Girl - Completed

Thank you! Yes I totally understand about characters kind of setting their own pace, it's the same with Evie and Jude! I know where I'm going with them, they just set the pace for me, and it's a slow burn for a few different reasons. Kelly is very mixed up at this point in the story, she's angry and frustrated and unable to communicate it in a healthy way. When you're young you can often get away with being kind of mean, but eventually your friends will just get tired of you. That's really what chapter 15 was. Evie's last straw. Even if she didn't really say everything that she wanted to say, we know that their friendship will never be the same afterwards.

Jude is in no way the perfect love interest character! in fact he's deeply flawed, but it's complicated by all of the things that are nice about him - and the things about him that are exciting. Evie can't really see past the giddy feelings of her crush, and she's so young and inexperienced that she doesn't even know what she wants yet - or more importantly what's good for her. You'll have to wait and see how it plays out between them, but your observations are very interesting :smiley:
