Thank you @Vanadis and @Jendowoz0612 I think that working with children would be an awesome job! I had a granddaughter who was born with a rare neurological birth defect called
Schizencephaly. There are different stages to severeness and unfortunately she had the worst case. She was officially diagnosed shortly after birth with Open-lipped-Bi-lateral Schizencephaly along with cerebral-palsy and hydrocephalus. At 3 weeks of age she had undergone 2 surgeries, the first one to put a shunt in to drain the fluid build up on her brain and the second because she had developed meningitis due the first surgery. Through the wonderful 23 months we had with her, her mom and I had learned so much about her condition and how to help her between her therapy sessions. It was the best 23 months of my life.
