I have a number of stories yet to read, which I will work on this evening. WP hates my IPad right now, as I’m unable to like and comment from there. I’ll have to jump on my computer tonight and do it from there instead. So far though, all the stories I’ve read are awesome!

I guess this has been discussed before, but I’ll add my two cents’ worth in regard to word counts. I’m actually not a fan of the 600 max word counts and would much prefer an 800-1200 length. Yes, the reads go very fast, but 600 words is too rushed, IMO. Sure, you have screenshots to help tell the story, but I also like a bit more “meat” to my text rather than just having a “salad.”

This is simply just one person’s opinion, and you certainly can’t please everyone. Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great day. ?

I hear you and fully understand. My regular blogs run 1 to 1.2K and that is very comfortable.

The next month is 800 .. but in the future, there will be a lot of flexibility in this challenge .. there may even (will) be wordless months. This is not our regular blog offerings but allows us to explore our creativity and grow by fitting into an uncomfortable box that is not of our own choosing .. discomfort can cause growth.

My agenda is to push past the staunch boundaries of the simlit community and bring in new readers and new scribblers ... so far that is what happened. Kind of like the samples at Costco our stories are not the meal but can be teasers that draw readers in for the bigger meal that comes in our blogs.

I know this challenge is not for everyone and I hold nothing against those who do not want to be a part of it. BUT for those who do want to be a part I hope it is FAB!
