1924 through 1929...

I know its been a little while since I last posted. Been busy with work and well.... The TODDLER. She keeps me on my toes. Anyways pics galore.

1924... Continued, Frank's Troubles.

After the birth of Edward Damme, Franks little man, things seemed to be going pretty well. That is until Nellie was able to start getting out again. You see Nellie loved going out and having fun with her friends. She was not one to just stay in, so when she had Edward she felt really tied down and was ready to have some fun. Frank however doesn't care much for large crowds since the war and preferred to stay home. He also thought it to be best that Nellie stay home since she had a little one to take care of. So she went out often with her friends despite the prohibition.

1925... Carolina is an Elder, Robert McDermott has a birthday, William Johnson becomes a teenager, Edward becomes a Toddler and Lewis gets Married.

Carolina had actually turned 50 about 3 years ago. But with everything going on between Frank's family and Ruth giving birth to triplete's her 50th birthday went by. So Lewis decided to throw her a 53rd Birthday Bash with the whole family. He also invited Amalie who he had been writing/courting for over a year. He was both nervous and excited.

Frank and Nellie were also expecting. The pregnancy was a bit of a surprise for them but frank was over the moon happy, while Nellie loved her child she just wasn't ready for more this soon and she gave birth to TWINS... Thomas and Arthur Damme.

While Amalie enters her third trimester Lewis works hard on improving and upgrading the home. Amalie helps with the decor decisions as Carolina approves everything.

Carolina did take a small time of the year to help Ruth with the triplete's as she was pregnant again. Frank also stops by to check on her and aids William in his studies.

Lewis and Amalie have their first child. A boy named John and heir to the family line.

Edward becomes a child and Nellie was back at it again. Frank knew he would just have to accept her wild behavior for the sake of their boys. He wasn't ready to throw the towel in just yet. Though her behavior warranted it on several occasions. Edward loves his mom, but he does see the hurt in Frank's eyes.

Lewis hears of his brother's troubles as Amalie and Nellie are friends and keep in touch. So he decides to spy on her. Luckily she hasn't done anymore other than drink... a lot...

While I tried to bring some drama to the game and stay true to the prohibition era and the Flapper Fab, Nellie's aspiration is to be the leader of the pack and she is very outgoing. She does love her boys and her family, but she also still wants her freedom. We will see if she slows down to the home life or if Frank continues to put up with her drunken stubers or decides if enough is enough.

This family is growing fast and I can't wait to see how they all grow up. To Be Continued...
