1950... So here we are now into the 50's. We begin the journey with death, birth and War.
I am looking forward to the 50's and some style changes. Most everyone will be getting upgraded wardrobes. I will also change the life span to long as I won't be playing with every family. I will keep tabs on them as the game progresses but I will only keep the heirs from the 1st generation children as active households.
The 50s had a lot going on...
People moved into the suburbs due to the big baby boom
Around the mid 50s, the Civil Rights movement sparked the coming decade
Cold War had thousands of Americans losing their jobs, families and friends in the anti-communist “Red Scare”
Pop Culture influences now that the average family could afford a television to not only watch those movie starlets but they could also see their favorite musicians perform as well.
