I know! I;m starting to think that too haha Maybe you really do have to make you're Sim very very odd looking with very extreme features. I suppose something could still happen when she turns into a teen, but I don't know.
If she does end up turning out normal looking, I may have to make her a really ugly spouse to make up for it and see how that goes :D
