My Life in Sulani: Week 1, Pt. 7

When I got back to the house I had another visitor that I can't remember her name. But anyhow, I invited her inside and we talked for a little bit while I had me some yogurt.

I then went outside and laid out on the towel hoping that my visitor would come outside to talk but she didn't. When I went back inside, I told her that I'm going to bed and asked her if she could lock up after she leaves.

When I got up, I had fixed me some eggs and toast for my breakfast. YUMMY!!!!

After I had cleaned up the dishes and the kitchen, I went out back and laid out on the towel for a little bit before heading back inside to use the bathroom.

While I was out, I ran into Makoa's wife, Lilliana. So we talked for a little getting to know each other. She seems really nice.

I then decided to go and explore the cave again where I had heard someone singing, so I went to check it out only to see a mermaid. The mermaid backed away coyly and disappeared into the pool of water. Because I was so curious and stunned by seeing a mermaid, I let my curiosity get the best of me that I had to get a closer look, so I peered into the pool of water where I was grabbed and pulled into the water and had me in a embraced. I was really scared that she wasn't going to let go but she did and I got out of there as fast as I could.

I ran into Losefina and told her about my experience in the cave. She told me not to worry too much about what happened as the mermaid was just thanking me in her own way for cleaning up the islands. She explained to me that when the islands get too trashy, it makes the mermaids really sad to see the land and water looking filthy. So when they see people cleaning up the mess, it brings them delight that someone cares about the land and the water.

After talking to Losefina and putting my mind to rest about my mermaid experience, I had decided to go swimming out in the deep area so that I could do some scuba diving.

But while I was out there, something grabbed me by the legs and started to drag me around in the water. I'm not sure if it was another mermaid playing tricks on me or if it was a shark trying to drag me under but failed badly at it. But I know one thing, I was scared for my life as I didn't see anything approaching me from below.

But after I had calmed down, I heard a noise behind me and saw a shark swimming pass me which got me all scared again until a dolphin came by and chased it off. I started swimming towards the dolphin in hopes that it would let me pet as a thanks for scaring away my would-be attacker but it swam off leaving me by myself again. I then headed back to the shore
