Episode 39: Hannah & Elliott: Preparing For Baby
In our last episode Hannah was feeling some trepidation about telling Elliott a baby was on the way so soon after their marriage. Her fears were unfounded though as Elliott was thrilled at the prospect of becoming a father.
Hannah and Elliott immediately start to plan for the baby. Of course Elliott's wishing for a little boy.
Hannah informs him that little girls also play baseball. She just wants a healthy baby.
Hannah tells Elliott that she had been thinking about quitting her job.
Elliott: "Are you sure you want to quit your job? Babies are expensive."
Hannah: "But dear, the Watcher said we don't have to worry about money. Her good friend Motherlode will provide everything we need."
But you've worked hard to get where you are," he replied. "You're a respected Chief of Justice. Do you really want to give that up?"
Hannah looked pensive. "I've enjoyed my career and I won't be giving it up forever. But right now I just want to focus on raising our family."
"But enough about that. Mom's throwing us a baby shower! I'm so excited to celebrate with all our family and friends!"

I'm very happy for Hannah and Elliot. Hannah, you stick to your values. The best thing we parents can do is give of ourselves. Being a full-time Mom, myself, I appreciate her wanting to quit to care for her baby. Admirable, in fact. Loved the good friend Motherlode. Can you introduce me to them? I could use such a friend in real life. LOL
