my thoughts on the sadness moodlet

So, my sim witnessed a sim dying and got a moodlet, and then got a phone call telling him about the death he'd just witnessed and got a moodlet from that too. So he's double the sad now, lol. Is that...supposed to happen? Like, was that an intentional decision so that witnessing a death still has more impact than just hearing about it? I guess I could see that...but getting "informed" about a death your a witness to is still pretty silly :-P
