If you read the traits, it tells you which traits suit the different classes. Being a rogue, then charisma, constitution and most importantly dexterity. But the traits just give you a guideline according to the type of character when you are role-playing as your character, they are not crucial and don't necessarily need to be part of it. For example if you come across a locked door in the adventure, then there is only two classes that are likely to be able to get it open,
1. Barbarian or fighter through pure brute strength and force.
2. A rogue because the dexterity gives you the ability to pick locks, pick pockets, disarm traps etc.
So if in the story, the group wanted to get through a locked door quietly, you as a rogue would be the one that could do it most effectively.
