In the closeup the cape and arrows are a little shoddy... sorry for that, I forgot I needed a closeup and kinda rushed it :s Also, not quite sure I did this backstory right, and even then I couldn’t figure out how to do spoilers for the life of me, so I’m sorry for all of the text. If someone explains it I’ll edit the post to not be so wordy lol

Born an illegitimate child, the newborn stood no chance in life. Her mother, sick with the choice she had to make, decided that the most humane way to let go of the child would be to leave it in the forest. That way, she rationalized, she would have no part in what God did to the child in the forest. Much to her mother’s surprise, the child was found by a local huntsman as he trekked through the forest. He lived off of the land, but he otherwise kept to himself and kept the land at peace. Without a family of his own, he took the newborn in with open arms as she was but another gift from the land, and the two were inseparable from that day forward.
The huntsman named the young girl Katia as he saw her as the purest thing in his world. As their own, makeshift family, the two thrived off the land as the huntsman had for many years prior. It was through this huntsman that Katia learned her appreciation for the land around her and her practical skills. While she is no longer his little girl, Katia still retains the abilities she learned from the huntsman and tries to utilize them as much as possible.
