New schools for children and teens ideas

New schools can be a addition for the eventual Generations EP or schools dedicated GP.

Hippie school from TS3 was replaced by an agronomy school. An ocean studies school was planned for this poll but there's no oceanography career... yet

Each new school will have:

-Its own uniform
-Its own school bus
-Its own item reward
-Its own recommended careers after graduation

Reward items:

-Private: mini golf
-Military: obstacle course
-Culinary: butter churn
-Arts: drawing board
-Posh: vintage camera
-Mechanic: junk restoration car
-Agronomy: gardening station
-Sports: TBA
  • Yes to everything , but there needs to be an option to define our own uniform per school similarly to retail and restaurant outfits. Sulani Navy Academy in one save would have a very different uniform from Strangerville Rangers in a different save and from Generic SimNation military school for school failing simkids.

If any are playable & not a rabbit hole that would be great.
  • I like the idea of schools but I think there should be just two types, private and public schools. What you listed as different types of schools could be different study subjects. Both schools could teach Culinary, Arts, Mechanics, Agronomy, and Sports. Private school could have Journalism and the school newsletter workshop and the public school could have Military and Strategy and Warfare workshop. The rewards for the common courses could be different and more posh for the private school.

    Private school rewards

    • Culinary - chocolate making equipment and recipes
    • Arts - Craft statues out of junk metal or new extra large painting
    • Mechanic - develop electric cars
    • Agronomy - high tech gardening station
    • Sports - Golf
    • Journalism - Vintage or Video camera

    Public school rewards

    • Culinary - butter churn and recipes for different kinds of cheese, whipped cream, yoghurt, etc.
    • Arts - drawing board
    • Mechanic - junk restoration car
    • Agronomy - gardening station
    • Sports - baseball
    • Military - obstacle course
  • I like the idea. But i just can't choose. I'ld love private schools with all the poll options :)

I would like a few of those choices for our Sims, but since I had to pick one...

If these would be more rabbit hole schools I have no interest in that now active school with these options could be fun of these options I'd go with sports as that's one major activity I want to see with a high school pack.
  • I would settle for schools and homework to build skills - you know like they actually do. But yes, all this is awesome, but I agree that a choice of subject would be preferable to schools with only one area. These school subjects should also be targeting teens mostly, as that would be where you choose and differentiate more.
