I started this today and am having a lot of fun with it. I love rags-to-riches start from absolute zero challenges and this definitely looks like a fun one.
I've actually given myself an added challenge in that my sim Zelda can't magic sell anything so all collectibles must be sold at the yard sale. Also she can't kill any of the mice since she has the Good trait (the roaches are alright though because...ewww) though the landlord can do what he wants with them I guess lol. Also can't travel to other towns unless there's a day off. She's in the Entertainment career so once she can afford to get a guitar we'll be busking as well as selling at the flea market to make extra money.
