New Traits We Want To See in Sims 4 in 2021

Daredevil
Spoiler
Daredevils take the extreme side in life, even if it means making an everyday chore extreme. They also love fire and adrenaline.

* Daredevils don't panic when near fire, and tend to extinguish fire on the lot or other Sims before attempting to put out themselves. If they are set on fire, Daredevils won't panic and will automatically search for a nearby shower to put themselves out.
* Daredevils will gain a positive “Adrenaline Rush“ moodlet from being on fire.
* Daredevils can extinguish fires 33% faster than normal.
* Daredevils can "Play with Fire" with a fireplace.
* Daredevils take 3 hours to die from fire, rather than the usual 1 hour.
* Daredevils have the "Extreme" variations of many interactions, such as "Extreme Jog", "Take an Extreme Shower", and "Extreme Sleep".
* Daredevils share the fearlessness of Sims with the brave trait, cheering when near ghosts
* Daredevils will always switch to swimwear when making a snow angel. (Seasons/ Snowy Escape required)
* Daredevils will gain a positive moodlet instead of a negative one from watching a married couple break up.
* Daredevils prefer to watch the action and sports channels on the television.

Lucky
Spoiler
Basically the opposite of Clumsy. Lucky Sims are closely followed through life with a comforting sense of luck. They win often and they win big.

* Lucky Sims almost never burn food, break objects or get robbed.
* Lucky Sims are more likely to get raises at work/school and always get good results from career events with less work.
* Lucky Sims are more likely to win when playing games.
* Lucky Sims are more likely to win a physical fight.

Workaholic

Spoiler
Workaholic Sims love to work and rarely become stressed from working. Their mood suffers when they miss work, but they are able to make it up by working from home. Workaholics make the best employees.

* Workaholics will use the "Work Hard" tone by default while working.
* Workaholics will become less stressed while working, and receive a positive moodlet while at work.
* Workaholic teens and children won't become stressed as easily as other Sims while at school.
* Workaholics will receive a negative moodlet if they are not at work when they are supposed to be.
* Workaholics gain fun while doing, helping, or being helped with homework.
* Workaholics complete homework 27.8% faster.
* Children and teens who receive homework help from a Workaholic complete it 27.8% faster.
* Workaholics benefit from all majors in college.
* Workaholics don't enjoy listening to other Sims "Complain about Work". Workaholic children and teens won't autonomously complain about school.

Mooch
Spoiler
Mooch Sims can mooch food and money from their neighbors who for the most part just go along with it.

* A Sim with mooch trait can mooch cash and food directly off other Sims. They have a special new interaction to ask for food or money.
* Mooches are more likely to autonomously dumpster dive. You can see them roaming through trash cans in the neighborhood.
* When visiting other Sims' lots, the Sim can mooch food from the host's fridge!
* Some Sims may not respond well to the Sim's mooching. Acquaintances will state refusal, while a Sim that particularly dislikes the mooch will glare back at them angrily.

What new/ returning traits do you wanna see?
  • I've said this a bunch of times on this forum.

    Heavy Sleeper and Light Sleeper.
It goes well with the apartments when you have that neighbor that is doing too much ? at night keeping your sim awake.
  • I'll second heavy and light sleeper traits. Probably my biggest want is traits that do a better job of differentiating Sims from each other, not just gives them a random moodlet when they do something specific, so things like heavy and light sleeper seems perfect for that. I also like the idea of shy.

I liked absent-minded from TS3. Probably because I can relate to it xD Dramatic and Overemotional were also fun to play with. Honestly, that scrapped hates-reading trait might've been interesting just for some behavior variety.
  • Loves the supernatural and hates/fears the supernatural. They would react positevely or negatively when witnessing supernatural actions. And if whims worked correctly loves the supernatural sims would desire to meet and socialize with supernaturals or even be turned into one.

Lets say all the traits we have now were fixed and actually did something here's new ones I'd like to see I'm more so looking for visual change and behavior.

Shy - Sim does not just walk up to every random stranger and start conversations, Chance to have awkward conversation if the Sim does not know other Sim though improves once friendship is built, new animations eye contact not always made, Solo dances a bit more reserved new animation

Playful - Will sometimes skip instead of walk new animation, make something fun out of activities maybe dance while vacuuming, fun decays slower
  • Inappropriate trait

    • Sim autonomously insults other Sims.
    • When visiting a household, Sim will not give the host Sims the "Rude Guest" moodlet when doing the following - sleeping in the bed, eating from the fridge, bathing or showering, or doing a mean social interaction with the host Sim.
    • Inappropriate Sims will have the option to talk about other Sims that are standing nearby.
    • Sim doesn't always dress properly for all occasions.
    • Sim has the "Sponge Bath" option with sinks which will enable them to bathe anywhere where there is a sink (and generally offend everybody in the room for being naked)
    • Inappropriate Sims can "Talk About Other" if a third party is present. This includes talking about the Sim's face, job, or family.
    • Inappropriate Sims can kiss any Sims: even their own enemies or strangers. Usually the Sim will be rejected unless they have a high relationship with the other Sim or the other Sim has the flirty trait.
    • Inappropriate Sims can make inappropriate forum posts on the computer.
    • Can "Criticize His/Her Family" as a mean interaction. Only available for inappropriate and mean spirited Sims.
