I have a few ideas if the Sims team would like to give us a few new freebies for the holidays.
Recipies
Yule Log Cake - another Baking recipe
Make your own Gingerbread House with a few outcomes depending upon skill (could be updated with a design for Halloween)(see below for picture)
Pantetone - Baking recipe
Plum Pudding (see picture below)
"Mulled" Juice recipe
Eggnog for the punch dispensers
Wassail for the punch dispensers
Peppermint Hot Chocolate (see below for picture)

"Take a picture with Santa (Father Winter) Chair" set for Adults, Kids, Dogs and Cats (like at the mall every year) could be updated for the Easter Bunny (Flower Bunny)
Cinnamon Brooms with a scent of cinnamon whenever a Sims comes near it
Color options for the stockings - Red & Green, Gold Brocade, Silver Brocade, Red & Tan Plaid (Rustic)
Amaryllis in a red pot - Often sent as a holiday gift would be fun if its something you could tend to and grow except its a potted plant
Extra tall holiday tree for public squares, shopping centers
I would love window candles as a clickable decor thing
Am I the only one who wants more Holiday Door mats?
Lighted Garland Front Door Surrounds for any door
Those lantern style tall lamps that have those vertical flag holders with a few associated holidays as choices for the flags
Garland/ Holiday decorated street lights for public spaces
Bell Tower/ Clock tower build set for public spaces where the clock/bell chimes the hour (See picture below)
