As you can see in the last picture of the previous post, both Angie and Allyson had turned into teenagers by the time Laurie aged up, and Angie, by this time, was already in love. A creative and romantic person, with little interest in college, Angie was into dancing, fashion and her boyfriend, Payton Hillman - son of Angela Pleasant and Tristan Hillman. He too was just as in love as she was and on the day of her birthday party, as she had just aged up to a young adult - he fell to his knees and proposed:

Angie and Payton wasted no time. Grandmother Claire was not getting any younger, her second husband had recently passed away and she had now moved into the household for the last part of her life.
