Next buy/build BG utility tool should be

auto-roof tool

Curved walls.

Build walls to half tiles. Even if it requires activation, like the extra roof handles.

Ability to paint ceilings

Curved pool tool

Ability to rotate objects on the X, Y and Z axis.

Heartshape Beds
Spiral Stairs

I would love more 1 tile dressers and desks.

Trash compactor would be nice yeah

but I would indeed be more excited if i could use wallpapers or flooring for the ceilings/under roof

cause white really doesn't match 99% of stuff i build

All of the top five alternatives? I chose the tub/shower because it most often causes me frustration right now, but I want everything on the first half of the list. I also want many of the suggestions in the comment section.
