What is the next profession you would like to see added to the Sims4? Maybe an oldie but a goodie? Maybe something completely new and unique? What would you really like a system for?

I’d mostly like to see some more rabbit hole careers honestly. Jobs that wouldn’t have much advancement, like a full time retail job that caps out at store manager, or working at a shipping facility or factory or something. Or a job like a secretary where that’s the only level but they can still get raises.

I think that they should have therapists, lol. So many of these sims are so hopelessly scarred ?

I'd love to see the return of the Paranormal career. I feel like there could be some fun opportunities with vampires and ghosts and you could easily work from home for it (like making calls at the psychic phone friend level). And when you advance to cult leader status, you could perhaps persuade sims to do/wear certain things.

Architect, road maker, blue collar, construction worker, guide (for venues in the world), midwife!

We kind of already have it in the writers career ... but I'd like to see a news journalist/reporter... maybe it could go down a tabloid route or your sim could go the national news route. I'd love for photography and writing to be part of it in the earlier stages. I'd really like this to be a semi-active career.

I'd love a firefighter too... maybe they could combine it with an EMT branch kind of path. I know they are very separate in reality but this is the Sims so it would be pretty nice to have them both available as jobs for our sims.

I'd also like a modeling career.. on the catwalk kind of thing.. not sure what the branch off would be...

Also I want some education careers at this point I'm taking for granted they will be part of some sort of University pack.

This career was added in a free patch shortly before the Get Famous release. It's called fashion influencer and one of the branches you can choose later on is stylist. It allows you to give townie makeovers through an interaction with them.

I’d like to see something related to athletics. As it is now athletic sims only have 1 career and 1 aspiration. And as far as I know there is no way to freelance with athletic skills.

Maybe daily and weekly competitions you can perform in to win money. Or maybe something Olympic related. Or boxing or UFC.

Lawyer! Already wanted it in TS3. And teacher. Also, it's not a career but being able to follow teens/kids to school.

I would also love to have more rabbit hole careers, perhaps with a work from home option. Maybe I'm boring, but I just want more 'normal' careers like teacher, librarian, lawyer, therapist, architect, daycare, mechanic etc. I would also love a professional dancer career, a fortune teller or a ghost hunter career or fire fighter profession. Part-time jobs for adults / parents too would be nice.

Fortune teller career. this would come with a fortune telling skill. to hone your skill they would have the crystal ball table and tarot cards table. the actions for these would be: tell fortune and practice fortune. it would also be cute if we could give a reading to our pets.

Can we just get some more normal careers like firefighter, lawyer, teacher, garbageman, cashier, etc? I don't care if they have the option to be active or not, but these are such basic careers and they should be in the game in some form. I'm also disappointed that the self employment careers (vet, restaurant owner) didn't allow for options to have them as rabbit hole careers as well. There are some sims I'd love to have become vets or own restaurants or retail stores, but I don't want to be the one to operate them.

Some more work from home careers like accountant would be nice too.

I miss the Stylist profession the most for that exact reason. I also really like the architecture career
