Non-tropical destination ideas. Where in the world are my sims?

People seem to be stuck in a box. A tropical island in a box, and it's time they got out of the box. I hate the tropics. But I do want my sims to have holidays in exotic locations. Ever heard o...

Thank you. Tropical destinations are so overdone and cliche in general... And then in The Sims series, it has been even worse. Not just in EA's creations, but in CC creations. It feels like 90% of the worlds that people make are tropical or some other form of perpetually warm climate. I hate to use the word 'boring', but it is to me.

I take solace in the couple of Greenland and Norway worlds I have in The Sims 3.
