Growing up without a father was hard on Case. His mother worked for an "escort" service, but he never understood what that meant until he got an eyeful of her and her client one night after he woke up in the middle of the night, wanting a drink of water. He was only 11. Strung out on drugs, his mother eventually was hospitalized in a coma that she never woke up from. After her death, Case was put into the foster care nightmare that made him act out in ways he would never admit.
Until one teen boy helped him believe in himself again, prying him out of the pit he'd created for himself. Wanting to do better for the world, Case decided to become a child protective agent as a court advocate.
Case is decidedly bi. "Ever since I could remember, I've always been horny for girls and always been horny for guys. There's no difference to me." Never knowing a stranger, Case is likable and is always surrounded by friends. But sometimes, he goes into himself and gets lost when he thinks about where he came from.
