Alphabet SuperLegacy Challenge Rules

This is a legacy challenge where each generation represents a different letter, and must explore all of the game play starting with that letter: aspirations, collections, woohoo spots, reward store traits, you name it. I already have a thread for this challenge that has been updated through Crystal Creations. Since it was transferred from the old forum, it's very hard to update further. It's past time I added game play from Lovestruck to this challenge, so I'm starting a new thread. Here are the general rules:

  • Ignore any objective related to a pack you don’t own. You can choose to skip a generation if your pack limitations leave it extremely short on content. I've removed three of the letters (Q,U,Y) from the challenge because they don't have much to do, even with all the packs.
  • No cheat codes that help you move through your objectives faster.
  • No rules about aging.
  • No rules governing non-heirs.
  • Just because one generation has something as an objective, doesn’t mean that other generations can’t do it for fun/convenience.
  • If you don’t have at least three traits in the assigned letter, you have to randomize the rest. No self-discovery traits starting with a different letter.
  • Each heir's name, and that of any pets they have, must begin with their letter.
  • Likes and Dislikes: The heir can only have the likes/dislikes assigned to their generation. Color preferences are assigned when they age up to Child. From that point forward, all the heir's outfits will reflect their color preferences. If you decorate a space for them, you must consider their color preferences. Fashion and interior design preferences are assigned when they age up to teen (if you have those packs). From that point forward, all their outfits and decorated spaces will reflect their style preferences.
  • Lot Traits and Challenges: The heir must have all of their assigned lot challenges equipped in all of their designated residences. If the heir has three assigned lot traits or less, they also must be assigned. If the heir has four or more lot traits, they have to change up which three are in play.
  • The heir's transitional aspirations (the ones that decide the bonus traits) have to be aspirations from their generation, unless they don't have two aspirations.
  • At the start of the challenge, the Gen 1 "founder" will be very young, so you will need to give them at least one parent.

So apparently, spoilers on this website are very finicky . . . sigh . . . I miss the old forums. I've rewritten part of the generations, but I'll get to the others later and/or think up a different system. In the mean time, I'm picking up the play test after we left off when Hayato died of Hysteria because his House was Haunted by a Hilarious specter. Innes is a young adult now, and these are his remaining objectives:

    I Gen-The Irresponsible Internet Personality

    • Final Traits- Insider
    • Teen+ Aspirations-Inner Peace
    • Careers- Interior Decorator, Internet Personality (Social Media)
    • Collections-Insects
    • Aspiration Rewards-Inspired Potion, Independent
    • Reside In-Inner Circle (Del Sol Valley)
    • Lot Traits and Challenges-Island Spirits
    • Visit-Island Bluff
    • Other Gameplay- Play an Instrument. Use incense. Go Ice skating. Take medicine to cure an Illness. Throw an Incognito Costume Party. Woohoo in the Ice Cave (Snowy Escape).

Now that Innes is a young adult, he wants to move out to Del Sol Valley. He takes an unfurnished starter home called Inner Circle. He was taking a moment to consider what he needed to buy first, when, out of the blue, he found himself in this strange, sterile place. He appeared to be in a large white box. There were other individuals and groups in other boxes around him. It was eerie. Then he heard a disembodied voice: “You have been brought to the Library of the Watcher because your life has become a paradox. It is your fate to achieve certain things, but one of your objectives can only be attained by scaling Mt Komorebi, which is unclimbable in your native universe. From this point forth, your identity is split in two. Innes Prime will continue to live out his life in the same universe among the same people he has always known, but he must forge his own destiny, unguided by fate. You, Innes 2, will meet your fate in another universe."

With that, Innes found himself transported back to Inner Circle. It was furnished now, but only sparsely. There was also a partly eaten cake on the table made by someone named Ken.

If the universe (and Ken) saw fit to give him cake, he would make the best of it.

Living in another universe was an adjustment. He missed the people who existed in the old universe, but didn’t exist here. Some of the locations were very different. The weirdest part was meeting people who had alternates in the other universe.

Meeting the alternate of his former neighbor Marissa at the Trading Post Lounge. She didn't recognize him of course.

Del Sol Valley is great place to start out in the social media career and Innes soon finds a job as a Media Intern. He sometimes sees Island Spirits around the house, but he’s learned to appreciate them since they give him blessings.

Innes often works from his desk at home.
Innes finding an Island Spirit at the foot of his bed.

Working is slow and stressful for him because of his Irresponsible trait, so he decides to visit a spa. Because he now has the Insider trait, this inspires him to start an Inner Peace club dedicated to mindfulness, relaxation and peaceful surroundings.

Getting a foot massage finishes one of the objectives for the Inner Peace aspiration, allowing him to purchase the Independent trait.

One of his work assignments involves visiting the Arts District, so he stops by the music room at the Art Center. He takes an Inspired potion and starts to play the violin.

Innes ends up in a violin battle with Emilia Ernest.

He decides to ask Izabella Byrd, one of the new members of the Inner Peace club, out for a date at the Island Bluffs.

The perfect setting for twilight romance.

Innes’ career is progressing. He reaches the branching point of the Social Media career and becomes an Internet Personality. His first assignment is the cover the Humor and Hijinks festival.

Innes has to go leave the festival early because he feels ill.

Now that he’s making more money and can expand the house, he asks Izabella to move in with him. They go on vacation to Mt. Komorebi. Izabella, who is a Plopsy jeweler, surprises him their first night with a hand-crafted engagement ring. They elope and their little vacation becomes a honeymoon. While there they try out rock climbing. Izabella discovers she loves it, and she hopes to some day scale the heights of Mt Komorebi.

Izabella discovers she loves rock climbing and hopes to scale Mt. Komorebi.

When they return, Innes introduces Izabella to the Kanes, their next-door neighbors, by taking everyone Ice skating. At then end of the day, Innes relaxes at home with some incense, completing the Inner Peace aspiration.

I Gen Part 2-Into the Ice Cave

Innes still has some objectives left: reach the top of the Internet Personality and Interior Decorator careers, collect all the Insects, throw an Incognito Costume Party, and woohoo in an Ice Cave.

J Gen is coming, and he has the following objectives for his early years:

    • Final Traits- Jealous
    • Likes-Japanese Folk
    • Dislikes-Queen Anne
    • Teen+ Aspirations-Jungle Explorer

Innes and Izabella take one last vacation to Granite Falls. They have some romantic encounters in their cabin which lead to pregnancy. A few Sim days after they return home, Izabella gives birth to a son, Jiyan.

Innes finds the Jewel beetle, the last insect for his collection.

Innes has become an Internet Superstar. Now, wherever they go, people gather around and whisper “That’s Innes Letterman!” Somehow he feels unfulfilled by it all. He decides to make a bold change in his career and becomes an Interior Designer.

His client cries happy tears over her Mid-Century French Country bedroom.

As Jiyan becomes old enough to start school, Innes and Izabella want their son to make friends. They invite the Kim-Lewis family and the Kane family next door to come over for an Incognito costume party.

Innes is interested in his Japanese heritage and starts listening to Japanese Folk.

Time for another vacation. Izabella and Innes have been working on their rock climbing and are now ready to scale Mt. Komorebi, which has been Izabella’s dream for some time now. When the are almost at the top, they notice an Ice Cave that’s been frozen over.

Disappointed that they can't explore the cave, they decide to come back later.

Time marches on and Jiyan is ready to start high school. He decides that he hates Queen Anne décor. I was thinking about how to define the opposite of Queen Anne and it occurred to me: Queen Anne (the signature style of the Vampires pack) is European and very ornate, while the Japanese aesthetic from Snowy Escape is Asian and features clean, simple lines and minimal patterning. This also ties into Jiyan’s interest in his Japanese heritage. So, I give Jiyan’s bedroom a Snowy Escape makeover.

Innes and Izabella try the mountain climbing expedition again, but this time the Ice Cave is accessible.

Jiyan decides he wants to be a Joke Star when he grows up. He takes his friend Pua out to the new bistro to try out some of his material. He eventually works up the courage to participate in an Open Mic at the Orchid a Go Go lounge.

Thanks to the effects of a Simanite bracelet that Izabella made for him, Innes has advanced very quickly up the ranks of the Interior Designer career. His Irresponsible trait has a greatly reduced career affect when counteracted by the bracelet. He gives the Durham family a Red-Gray Island makeover on their home, and they are ecstatic. He is now a Certified Interior Designer!

The I Gen objectives are finished.

Jiyan has aged up to young adult and now has the Jealous trait. Izabella give him part of her jewelry collection before he leaves.

    J Gen- The Jealous Jokester

Jiyan has the following remaining objectives:

    • Teen+ Aspirations-Jungle Explorer, Joke Star
    • Careers- Journalist (Writer)
    • Reside In-Jasmine Suites (San Myshuno)
    • Other Gameplay- Keep a journal. Own a jewelry display case. Jump off of a jumping platform.

Jiyan is now renting an apartment in Jasmine Suites in the Spice Market in San Myshuno. It doesn’t take long for his first visitors to come by. The welcome wagon includes Caleb Vatore and his family, who live in a converted salt warehouse, and a guy named Raheem who lives in another apartment.

Jiyan sets up a Jewelry display in the entryway for Izabella's heirlooms.

Jiyan doesn’t take long to land a job as an entertainer, which is part of his Joke Star aspiration. In addition to his scheduled job, he’s making additional income writing humorous novels. One of his novels, “Down with Big Bother,” receives a Starlight Accolade. Jiyan is wondering if he should switch careers and become a writer full time.

Innes thinks that a writing career would be great for Jiyan. Holly Alto is skeptical.

Jiyan starts his new job at Walrus Books, but all work and no play would make Jiyan a dull boy. He spends some of his free time hanging out with his friend Raheem.

Jiyan gets cosy with Diamond, one of Raheem's roommates.

Jiyan performs a series of routines at the Trading Post Lounge to enthusiastic applause from the patrons. He decides to take a break with a vacation to Selvadorada. While there, he talks to some of the locals and here’s some strange stories about the jungle.

    Completing the Joke Star aspiration.
Jiyan wants to be a Jungle Explorer now.

Jiyan goes on another trip later on, this time better equipped for the jungle. When he returns to his lodging, he writes about his experiences in his Journal.

Jiyan makes it all the way to the temple.
Exciting content for a new article.

That’s not the only excitement. Diamond is pregnant.

An heir is on the way.

    J Gen Part 2-Jungle Journalist

Jiyan only has a few objectives left: reach the top of the Journalist career, finish the Jungle Explorer aspiration, and jump off a Jumping platform.

K Gen has the following objectives for his early years:

    • Final Traits- Kleptomaniac
    • Likes-Knitting, Kids Music
    • Dislikes-Painting, Photography, Piano, Pipe Organ, Programming, Pink, Purple, Patio furniture, Pop music, Polished and Preppy fashion
    • Teen+ Skills- Knitting
    • Teen+ Aspirations- Lord/Lady of the Knits, Mt. Komorebi Sightseer
    • Aspiration Rewards- Great Kisser

The longer Jiyan and Diamond are together, the more his jealousy becomes apparent to her. After their son Kahi is born, Diamond is shocked to find out that Jiyan is jealous of her affection for her own baby (I didn’t know this was a thing by the way). Up ‘til that point, she couldn’t explain to herself why she kept putting off setting a date for the wedding. When Kahi was a toddler, Diamond decided she couldn’t take anymore of Jiyan’s possessive behavior. She told him they were through, and fled to Sulani.

Jiyan raised Kahi as a single parent. He told Kahi that his mother had been abducted by aliens, because he didn’t want to admit the truth. As a child, Kahi decides that he hates the colors Pink and Purple. After thinking about it, I decided that, because Pink and Purple are blended colors that don’t have a yellow element, he would prefer colors that do have a yellow element (yellow, orange and green).

Kahi calms his emotions by Knitting and listening to Kids Music. No Pop, though.
Kahi takes a selfie in his new green sweater. Apparently, he hates photography.

One evening, Jiyan brought Kahi along with him when he was doing a story on Chestnut Ridge. Kahi tried out the Piano, but didn’t like it. The Piano stressed him out so much that he went outside. He spotted a funny-looking lantern and thought it could be a signal for aliens. A clue, perhaps. He stole it while no one was looking.

He probably wouldn't like Pipe Organ, either.
    Kahi the Kleptomaniac.

The weekend was more relaxing. Jiyan takes Kahi to the pool in Windenberg and does a swan dive off the Jumping platform.

Eventually it’s time for Kahi to start high school and he tries to make friends. He joins a boy named Keaton in making a political mural. He starts off on the wrong foot with Wolfgang Munch, but they come to understand each other. He also meets a girl named Nanami at an Independence Day gathering in Duke’s Park.

Cough. Cough. Painting isn't any fun for him.
Nanami is childish, and his ability to Knit cute toys impresses her.

Kahi’s only interior design preference is that he hates Patio décor. I decided that the opposite of that would be a cozy indoor vibe with soft textures. He uses the desk in his room to work on his assignments. A Programming assignment convinces him that he doesn’t have a future in tech.

    Kahi's bedroom has a soft, orange-yellow-green look.

After several attempts, Jiyan solves the riddle of the final temple guardian and locates the treasure chest buried in the temple. Kahi is learning about his aspirations. Attending the Snow Festival with Nanami convinces Kahi that he wants to be a Mt. Komorebi Sightseer. Spending the day knitting at the arts center helps him complete some objectives of the Nifty Knitting aspiration.

    Finishing the Jungle Explorer Aspiration.
He can purchase the Great Kisser trait. Will he use it on Nanami?

Jiyan comes home from work one evening in time to bake Kahi a birthday cake. They have something else to celebrate because Jiyan was just promoted to Scribe of History, the last of his goals.

    K Gen-Knitting in Komorebi

    • Teen+ Skill-Knitting
    • Teen+ Aspirations- Lord/Lady of the Knits, Mt. Komorebi Sightseer
    • Careers- Make money selling knitted wares.
    • Reside In-Yukimatsu
    • Visit-Karaoke Bar
    • Other Gameplay- Join Knights of the Hedge. Attend Knight Night at a Bar. Throw a Kava party. Own a Kotatsu table, a Keepsake box, a Kiddie pool and a Key Board. Have Keyholder status with someone.

Now that he’s a young adult, Kahi realizes his dream of moving to Yukimatsu.

He now has a Kotatsu table and a Keepsake box.

To celebrate his independence, he asks Nanami to go out for Karaoke. They have a great time in spite of their lack of singing skills and, by the end of the evening, he works up the courage to tell her about his feelings. It turns out she feels the same way too. He continues to work on his Knitting and developing his Plopsy storefront. Soon he masters the Knitting skill and is successful enough to ask Nanami to elope with him. Giving her a Knitting lesson completes the Lord of the Knits aspiration.

Kahi can finally use his Great Kisser trait.

Kahi’s high school friend Wolfgang is the leader of the chess club Knights of the Hedge, and he convinces Kahi to join.

The Knights go out for Knight Night at the Shrieking Llama.

Kahi and Nanami welcome a baby girl, Luna. Jiyan is excited to be a grandfather. Luna has the following objectives she can work on in her early years:

    • Child-Join League of Adventures.
    • Final Traits- Loves Outdoors, Lazy, Loner, Loyal
    • Likes-Latin music, Latin Pop, Lullabies, Yellow, Luxe decor
    • Dislikes-Orange
    • Teen+ Skills- Logic
    • Teen+ Aspirations- Leader of the Pack
    • Careers- Lifeguard
    • Aspiration Rewards- Insta-Large, Insta-Lean

Over time, Kahi adds to their Yukimatsu home, until it’s a four-sided home with an atrium in the middle, where the kids can play even if they’re snowbound. Since he and Nanami have grown close with his friend Yuki from the chess club, Kahi has decided to give her a key to their house, so she can play chess in the atrium.

A Kiddy Pool in the Courtyard.

Now that Luna is a child, she has the Loves the Outdoors trait. She joins the League of Adventures club, which revolves around playing outside in the park. She is learning some of her likes, such as Latin Music and Lullabies.

Luna wears yellow in her outfits, but she dislikes the color Orange.

As a teen, Luna decides she loves Luxe interior design and redecorates her bedroom. She’s also self-conscious about how she looks in her uniform, so she drinks an Insta-Lean potion.

Her experience playing chess with the League of Adventures has lead Luna to take an interest in joining the Knights of the Hedge, which helps her build Logic skill. Because she is Loyal, she is determined to stick by her chess club friends through thick and thin, even when Mimsy rudely criticizes their strategy. She doesn’t like the way Wolfgang is running things, though.

Although Kahi can’t stand the Piano, their younger daughter Lakita, who just started elementary school, is eager to learn it. He buys a Keyboard for the play room … and stays well away from it.

Nothing helps him forget the existence of Pianos (and Pipe Organs, and Pop music) like a walk in the forest. You won’t catch Lakita going on any walks, though. As a teenager, she’s developed the Lazy trait. She prefers a relaxing chat with her grandfather, Jiyan, who recently moved in with them.

A mindful walk in Senbamachi helps Kahi complete Mt. Komorebi Sightseer.

Luna has talked all of the club members over to her side and she’s confident that she can take over the club. She invites Wolfgang over for a private chat in the study. “You’re running this operation into the ground! It’s time you stepped aside.” He admitted defeat.

Luna completes Leader of the Pack by taking over Knights of the Hedge.

Kahi celebrated Luna’s new reign as leader by throwing a Kava party for the club on the beach at Lani St. Taz, the last of Kahi's objectives.

Luna loves the sunny climate and crystal-clear waters of Lani St. Taz.

Luna and her friend (technically her half-uncle, but we won’t get into that) Odin were exploring Moonwood Mill when Luna got lost and ended up near Greg’s trailer. She told him off when he wouldn’t let her use his trailer toilet. Not the best decision.

Greg gave Luna a bite on the arm.

L Gen-The Lone Wolf of Lani St. Taz

    • Final Traits-Loner
    • Teen+ Skills- Logic
    • Teen+ Aspirations- Lone Wolf
    • Careers- Lifeguard
    • Aspiration Rewards- Insta-Large,
    • Reside In-Lani St. Taz, Llama Lagoon
    • Lot Traits and Challenges-On Ley Line
    • Visit-Library, Lounge
    • Other Gameplay- Watch Live entertainment. Serve Lemonade. Go Line dancing. Attend Ladies Night at a Bar. Own a Laptop, a Lava lamp and a Listening device. Throw a Lampoon Party. Woohoo in a pile of Leaves. When all other objectives are complete, be killed by Lighting.

Now that she’s a young adult, Luna buys a small beach cabana in Lani St. Taz. As a Loner, she wants people to leave her alone, so she uses an Insta-Large potion to bulk up her weight so people would find her more intimidating.

She buys a Laptop and a Lava lamp for her desk in the new cabana. She also lands a job as a Life Guard, quickly advancing to the top level of the career.

She is determined to develop her werewolf powers, so she visits the Library in Moonwood Mill to read werewolf books. She also visits the Grimtooth Bar in order to check out the bunker. It happens to be Ladies Night when she visits.

Luna doesn't like the crowds, but she'll take a discounted drink.

One night, her chess club friend Yuki called and asked Luna to support her at open mic night at the Trading Post Lounge. Luna enjoyed watching the Live entertainment, including Yuki’s guitar playing and Brittany Cho’s comedy. While there, Luna met a handsome man named Jordan. Because it was a quarter moon, when werewolves build relationships faster, they became close friends right away, and before long, they were something more.

Jordan is the one in the brown jacket.

After spending time at the Moonwood Library, Luna masters the Logic skill, earning money from space prints while she was at it. All this Logic has Luna thinking: why should she and Jordan wait any longer? They tie the knot at the Rusty Horseshoe nightclub in front of family and friends. After the ceremony, everybody enjoys some line dancing.

Luna finally feels that she’s strong enough to get her revenge on Greg. She confronts him in front of his trailer, where it all began. She defeats him in hand-to-hand combat, completing the Lone Wolf aspiration.

Luna now has a Threatening Presence, easily intimidating people.

Luna and Jordan have decided to try for a baby. Because the house is on Ley Line, there’s a good chance they will have twins. They move out to a bigger house in Llama Lagoon, a modification of a house by simlennial1027. Luna converts one of the closets to a surveillance room, so that she can keep tabs on her growing number of enemies.

    L Gen Part 2-Lycan Lampoon

Luna still has a few objectives left: serve Lemonade, throw a Lampoon party, woohoo in a pile of Leaves, and be killed by Lightening.

M Gen is here and has the following objectives that they can work on in their early years:

    • Toddler-Movement skill
    • Child- Mental and Motor skills
    • Teen-Mediator trait
    • Final Traits- Music Lover, Materialistic, Mean, Maker
    • Likes-Media Production, Mischief, Mixology, Metal music, Mission, Mid-Century, Modern decor
    • Dislikes-Nectar making, New Age music, NuDisco
    • Teen+ Skills- Mischief, Mixology, Media Production, Medium
    • Teen+ Aspirations- Chief of Mischief, Musical Genius, Mansion Baron.
    • Careers- Manual Laborer
    • Aspiration Rewards-Moodlet solver, Morning Sim, Marketable, Mermadic Kelp, Money Tree
    • Collections-Moonwood Relics, Metals, Microscope prints, MySim trophies, Magical artifacts,

Thank you LaunchSneezes for creating Jordan Carlson, Luna's handsome mate. Not long after they moved to Llama Lagoon, the twins are born. Luna invites friends and family over to meet little Melody and Makoto. Melody is a full werewolf like her mother, but Makoto is a dormant wolf. The gathering ended up being kind of chaotic, but some Lemonade helped cool things down (a little).

With her werewolf intimidation tactics, Luna develops an atrocious reputation. She invites her frenemy Lexie out to the beach bar in Sulani for a Lampoon party. Jiyan’s ghost takes part as the main comedian, but then Luna steps in to share some of Lexie’s embarrassing moments. Lexie is unamused by all the jokes at her expense.

Lexie is the one in the pink top looking unamused

As a toddler, Melody is always on the move and she masters the Movement skill with some help from Jordan, while Makoto is asleep. Not long after mastering Movement, she ages up to child. She is now a Music Lover, and is particular fond of brutally dancing to Metal music, but she can’t stand New Age or NuDisco.

Fall arrives and that means raking the leaves. Luna and Jordan take a moment to woohoo in one pile across the street. When Halloween rolls around, Melody dresses up and plays tricks on Makoto.

    Melody loves Mischief.

Luna and Jordan have both been teaching Melody. Jordan is concerned that Melody’s werewolf tendencies will cause her to have a lot of conflict later on. He’s been teaching her how to say sorry, so that she can have better conflict resolution. He’s also been teaching her Mental skills. Since his career in botany has been a success, he converted the old garage into a home lab. He set up a chemistry set for Melody in the lab, so she could conduct her own experiments. In time, she masters the Mental skill. Luna has been using her expertise as a life guard to teach Melody swimming, which helps her master the Motor skill.

As a teen, Melody is told she can move out of the nursery into the old guest suite. Because she now has the Materialistic trait, she gives the space an expensive makeover in a combination of her favorite styles: Mid-Century, Modern and Mission. She sets up a music editing station on her bedroom balcony and has a lot of fun experimenting with Media Production. She hopes to shop for more home improvements and become a Mansion Baron.

Between the aspiration points she earned as a child, and the points she earned for the first few levels of the Mansion Baron aspiration, Melody was able to buy the Marketable and Morning Person traits from the reward store. She can use these to help her generate more profit selling cocktails. She discovers that she likes Mixology, although she wouldn’t want to have to make Nectar from scratch. If she works at it, she might become a Master Mixologist when she grows up.

Melody wants to learn more about werewolf culture, so she digs in Moonwood Mill for relics. While digging, she also starts discovering metals and MySims. She hopes to complete all three collections. Jordan put a microscope in the lab, and Melody has discovered she can use it to create decorative prints.

Melody still needs more money to realize her dream of becoming a mansion baron. She gets a weekend job in Manual Labor. She develops her gardening skills and advances to the top of the career as a back hoe operator.

Unfortunately, Luna does not live to see the girls graduate high school. She went out to the concession stand during a thunderstorm and was killed by lightening.

Melody deals with her grief through retail therapy, adding so many expensive things to the house, that she becomes a Mansion Baron. Now she’ll get a rebate on anything she buys. Makoto appreciates the bedroom Melody designed for her.

Before graduating and leaving home, Melody completes the Moonwood Relic and Microscope Print collections, giving her historic Moonwood pot lid and her favorite microscope print pride of place next to grandma Izabella’s heirlooms.
