Well River is looking for people involved in the sim trafficing and when Melody went to see her dad he was so preoccupied with his computer. I don't know if I just look for twist and surprises, but I thought what if that's what he was dealing with when she cam over! I guess he so nice and a bit not there because he's secretly running this whole scheme. Sorry this is just how my mind works lol
