[Old] Show Me Your Magic Realm Please
I've been trying to build magic realm for ages in million different ways but its not really feeling magical at all :/ therefore I shall ask what you all have in yours? care to share?

The stairs to the palace work perfectly well. Don’t worry about all this gravity defying business. That’s the charm of the Magic Realm: Anything is possible! Although I wish more things in RoM were possible gameplay wise but that’s another topic entirely….Yes the tower does not float 😆
I decided that once upon a time there was more neutral magical castle there
and it was destroyed in occult wars so all that is left of it is the observatory tower that somehow survived
the new palace was then built after the occult wars grander and more magical than ever
and they opted for floating one so it could be easily moved anywhere they want in case of another attack
there was big aesthetic debate but in the end bright n light crowd won over the gothic and dark crowd
and they're still salty so theres bit of conflict there 😆- Destruction so far:SpoilerFront

I went with very simplified version because I needed it to be extremely easy to track my sims

the entrance was designed as sort of library
this was so sims new to spellcasting wouldn't have to wander far for the tomes

As I don't own Realm of Magic I have no idea about what you might put in your empty rooms, but as a Harry Potter fan, I'm going with what is in Hogwarts. Potions you seem to have covered with the cauldrons, library as well, observatory (astronomy tower), seans table seems like divination. That leaves duelling room (defence against the dark arts), care of magical creatures (so animals of some sort? A room for their black cats? Perhaps Llamas are magical?) Greenhouses for plants and ingredients. Something akin to classrooms though I'm not sure that is necessary in realm of magic. As I said I'm guessing LOL

Cornelia went back and planted plants that may be needed for potions,
few plants from Forgotten Hollow and few that may be used for herbalism
I was going to add mushrooms from CoL but I chose against cause the plants actually fit rather snug when i removed those

I think I will consider adding some type of classroom for one of them cause indeed that could be useful
I think I won't add duelling to palace cause sims will probably never use the right place for it anyway :lol:
I'll just try to redirect them to the duelling grounds away from palace or the town when I have my sims duel- Okay so I went back in and now we have classroom also
unsure what I could add for decor but it is like this for now
I do like how the room shape kinda just naturally works
(well aside from the door that is driving me crazy not being centered
but also now that I think of it I don't recall classroom doors ever being centered for some reason)

Forgive me for being stoopid, but are you all using a mod to be able to edit the Magic Realm--and if so, which one--or is the ability to edit the Magic Realm unlockable with cheats?
