old thread

Hi, I'm looking to fill out my new save for C&D with creative #noCC and if you have them, #noMOO lots! Community and residence, and even generic lots if you think it's great!

I figured making this thread is easier as I find myself having to tick through CC builds and cheat builds a lot, and it's taking me quite a while to find ones that are compatible with my game. (personally with how I prefer no cheats/cc, anyway!)

Please post away, pictures appreciated as I'm the galleries biggest enemy! As builders I'm sure much to your chagrin those gallery pics aren't flattering to your beautiful designs at all.

Cheers! B)

  • Gonna give this a bump and update the title a little as I'd be super interested in either homes or community lots with stuff from the toddler SP for play dates and families, and just family oriented homes in general as I'm lacking that the most right now!
    Also starter homes!

Of course keep the other good stuff coming too!
  • @mannanna I meant under 20k sorry - that first pic is a very cute house! I love the dog house, how innovative. :)

I never use CC, and I never use MOO in any of my builds. I have quite a few sets of homes I built for newcrest and lots of community lots. I'll come back later with pictures, but the link to my gallery is

I am glad I stumbled across this thread and found a talented builder who doesn't use MOO. MOO is the death of builds if you want to actually play with them. It enables you to create great looking builds but they are a real nightmare to play. MOO creates all sorts of playing issues. Routing and access problems abound. When, not if, you need to change the design to suit your story or play style you are faced with a real dogs breakfast. And, the latest bug caused by MOO is sims cooking in the sink.

I wish there was a way to strip out all the MOO when you placed a lot. Then you are not left with the nightmare later.

Excellent @Sweet_Italy . I really like your builds and best of all there is no MOO. You are proof that MOO is not necessary to create really good builds.
