Day 6 - January 6th

Excursion #2 is on! Kiyoshi and Aldo made it to the first marker and it was a little more intimidating - the weather wasn't as clear and they were taking this climb without adult supervision - just fine by them!

The boys stopped for a quick bite and started a bonfire. It was nice to warm up a bit before pushing forward to the next level.

Once they reached the summit, the clouds parted and they could see the sights even better than before. They congratulated each other on a safe and smoother climb - this time earning a gold ranking!

A few selfies had to be taken as well - you know, for bragging rights back at school!

The boys decided that they would make this a tradition every summer to make it to the top of the mountain. Hopefully, life won't get in the way of their teenage plans!

One quick bowl of cereal and it will be time to head back down. Kiyoshi's parents will be relieved to know that they are safe and sound and ready for a new week!

This climb was all about getting a better ranking for the excursion - and we did!
