One Month One World One Year Challenge 2023

Elfie is a teen elf who has lived his whole life at the North Pole. He is a cheerful elf, as most elves are, and has a bit of a childish streak, which got him assigned to the Toy-Testing Team. Yes, this was the life because Elfie just loved to play and play and play...um...test all the toys. Well, the testing part didn't go too well, and Elfie's quota was down one day...really down. An elder elf, named Grumpy, spoke to Elfie and told him that Elfie had to concentrate more on his work, and not be so playful all the time. Not be playful? How could he not? To help Elfie be more productive, Grumpy sent Elfie to...gulp...elf detention! No! How could this have happened?

But maybe it was destiny that Elfie had been sent there because while he was there, he heard some gossip from his friend Decker, about some sims in the Simworld. These sims had lost the Winterfest spirit, and some were even downright angry and mean (even worse than that angry elf, Grumpy). From what Decker had told him, the naughty list was getting longer everyday with more and more names being added. And, according to his other friend, Jangles, it was getting worse. This ho-humness was starting to affect nearby towns. Elfie's other friend, Snowflake, had overhead the conversation and whispered that even Father Winter was getting worried and had refused to eat some sugar cookies this morning! Oh my gumdrops! This was terrible! They had to do something!

And so, after elf detention, Elfie and his friends went to the reindeer barns. They decided that one of them had to help! But who? They decided to draw candy canes from a bag, and having drawn the smallest candy cane, (which he promptly ate), Elfie was chosen to go.

Elfie had a year to visit all the worlds and try to raise everyone's Winterfest spirit. He knew he could do it, for if he didn't, it could mean the end of Winterfest as we knew it. So, with his elf friends cheering him on, Elfie headed to the magic portal and was whisked off to his first destination, Mt. Komorebi. Whoosh!

Notes:

I wanted to do something different this year. This is really the only story that I will write, as I will be trying to stick to the 1 photo per day with a few notes, and just do the challenge. I am not sure how long I will be able to do this, as I am waiting for my Immigration Travel Papers for Canada, so that I can look after my Dad there. So, I am just going to go with the flow and see how far I can get with this.

I had actually made Elfie for another short challenge, but liked him so much, I decided to use him for this challenge. He starts with no skills, no simoelons and no friends.

Two of the three elf friends, I got from the gallery, and the third I created. Just changed the hair, names, clothing and aged them down to teens.
