Dear Diary,
People are pretty kind here. I’m meeting my neighbours, and they’re all pretty chill people. School today wasn’t bad either, though we have to finish this giant project and I’m not really too keen on finding the time between everything else I have to do. Dad said that Nanny Nia was always good at gardening, but the weather here is so cold even though it’s spring already. I’m spending as much time at the local lounge as I can, because it’s nice and warm.
This might be harder than I thought, but I’m not giving up. Whitmores don’t back down! Plus, there’s a little place nearby that’s abandoned, and I asked around. It doesn’t look like anyone owns it.

As usual, we started off the day by tempting Jenny's Curse again. I know, I know...but the machines can really pay out sometimes! Besides, this time, they actually did, as I believe this was the day I got a golden Medieval Grim, judging by the upgrades I made later. So...all's well that ends well?

After that, it was time for some early morning homework. Sorry, Amelia, but we have to keep those grades up for when you inevitably need to take a day off school for your poor needs!

As for those upgrades I mentioned, we now have a toilet AND a shower. Can you believe it? I'm extremely happy, though it's not exactly luxurious. Amelia's been working hard, nearly getting squashed and all, and it's absolutely paid off!

And now, time for bed. I think she was exhausted from school, and I can't blame her given how early she was up to get those funds. Sorry, Amelia!

So, yes, we have a sort of functioning house now! I'm pretty proud of it, despite it being a square with not much to it. It'll get better over time, trust me! See you tomorrow!
