Today, she’d been back at work, and Sofia hadn’t been there, but her manager had been angry about the situation.
“All they do is come in, order drinks, and refuse to leave. If you know them, you talk to them about it, Selena. The blonde girl said she was your friend.”
“She’s not my friend!” Selena had said, quickly. “They don’t like me!”
The manager had shaken his head impatiently. “Look, either you sort it out or I’ll have to talk to them the next time they’re in store. We have a fair use policy, and I have to stick to it.”
Could things get any more embarrassing? She could imagine what Sofia would say if the manager did talk to her, and the rumours that would fly around the school. She just wanted this to stop, even if it wasn’t like they were technically doing anything wrong.
Selena got up early, and honestly seems to be doing much better with keeping on top of her needs! However, it was right back into keeping on top of her homework, because falling behind when you start off this challenge is just the worst.
Because we finally upgraded! Look at this! A separate bedroom! I was going to make it a kitchen, but for now it's a bedroom, and I plan to keep updating it as the money from the garden comes in.
