Starting out every world Rags to Riches style is entirely optional. I updated the rules to reflect that. I just enjoy the challenge of doing it that way as said in another post. However, I probably won't start out Rags to Riches for Tessa in Evergreen Harbor either. We'll see...
I made a note about that in the Worlds/Aging Up Timeline in the first post already. I purposely switched Britechester and Glimmerbrook around so Tessa will age up to a young adult (not adult) when she lives in Britechester so she can attend University. :)
Having a spouse(s), live in partners, or not is totally your choice. You're welcome to play the challenge and make changes to it for your playstyle any way you wish. I'm not going to be a challenge cop or anything, just look at the 'rules' as guidelines you may follow only if you want to. I posted them just to show what I'll be doing for the challenge and have added suggestions from others to it as options. Just have fun, that's all that matters. :)

I was hoping I'd get to see him again, he's quite the character. :D I love how you're doing the notes for the day as Bryon's diary. Very cool! Looks like he's progressing nicely! @Kanindota Sure, you don't have to post your challenge daily posts here in this thread. You're welcome to make your own thread and/or post in your tumbler, WordPress, etc., or any other blog of your choosing. I'd love it though if you could post a link to it in the thread so we know you've posted and can go read it. :) At some point when I have time, I'm going to try to put links to other Simmers try at the challenge in the first post.
But, only if you're doing it in another thread or blog. I think the first post would get filled up way too fast if I tried to update it with everyone's individual posts for each day here in the thread. However, for those who have posted in the thread, I'll give a link to your Day 1 post. If you want to update/edit that one with links to other days/months, that would be cool. Does that make sense?
@SoulGal7 Thanks for answering Skeilah's question for me about what does WIP mean. I updated the rules to spell it out in case anyone else would've been confused by it too. Oooo, Sukura got asked out on a date with Kyoshi! Too bad she couldn't go, darn. Nice that he came over though and they exchanged numbers. I love that little kiss they give their cell phone after sending their number, so cute! :) She actually yawned over the Opera? My Sims have been invited to that before, but they always come back all excited about how great it was. :D
