Sofia Bjergsen & Octavia Moon
The Engagement
It all started probably when Judith Ward had died and Sofia was sad about their rift.
Sofia hugged her dog Lilo who had woken her up and suddenly she felt a lot better and she thought... she thought she should get engaged with Octavia.
Sofia decided it should be a public engagement, because it would be useful for both her and Octavia's career. After all, Octavia was a writer and vlogger. Currently she was writing this short story mystery trilogy... Octavia hadn't really wanted to write a trilogy, but the publishing department had persuaded her to do it, because they had decided to make a movie of her first book! Now she only had the last book left to write and she had started it, but she was pretty much out of ideas...

(Yeap the divorce inspired Octavia's vlogs. Oh and Sofia had composed a song for her. It played on the radio and wasn't private anymore, because money is money and they had bills to pay. And they always forgot to pay them until the power was shut off...)
Anyway, it was a sunny summer day when Sofia took Octavia to the Starlight Boulevard.

She had decided to pop the question in front of the waterfall fountain and could hardly keep a poker face.

"Oh Octavia! Will you marry me?"

Octavia didn't say no to that face, but there are no more pictures, because the place started to swarm with paparazzi, fans and bypassers. Sofia and Octavia entertained their audience for a while with public kisses and Sofia played a couple of songs and serenaded to Octavia.
Later that day Sofia was getting perfectly sunkissed by the pool when her dad Bjorn called her and asked why did she never visit them anymore. Had he read about the engagement somewhere or was it just a parental instinct? Sofia promised to visit tomorrow and the next day she and Octavia travelled to Olde Platz of Windenburg.

Clara greeted her daughter with a loving hug, but Bjorn was busy with the computer.

Sofia talked up Octavia to her mom and Clara was eager to get to know her. She liked Octavia a lot. Sofia waited for her dad to join them, but soon she realised she'd have to go get him. She went to her dad and told him she wanted him to meet Octavia, her fiance.

It seemed like he hadn't heard about the engagement... or maybe he pretended he didn't know.
Then all of them sat around the table and Bjorn liked Octavia too.

Octavia thought it was lovely to get to know Sofia's parents. It was a Midsummer holiday and it was raining, so Sofia and Octavia wanted to play in the rain to have some water fun. It wasn't enough celebration though, so both of them thought the holiday itself was awful, though it had otherwise been a very sweet day.
Probably the next day or a day after that Sofia and Octavia decided to go and have dinner together. They were just hungry. Sofia didn't feel like cooking and Octavia never cooked. While waiting for their food they chatted this and that and just when their food arrived Octavia got Crumplebottomed! Sofia thought it was funny because they hadn't really done anything.

Octavia always wanted to have red wine. She drank it at home too. Sofia had seen the glasses, though Octavia prefered to drink alone. She said it helped her to write.

The food was sooo good. Sofia had a bit of trouble with chopsticks though. The restaurant gave them discount and they went upstairs to sing karaoke. (Sofia also wanted to work on her new song.)

They sang a duet.
Then Octavia said she actually wanted to watch Sofia sing, so she sat down on a sofa and watched her perform. And in the middle of the song her phone rang. It was Diego Lobo who told her that she'd inherit her distant relative's large fortune. Octavia was excited! Moneymoneymoney mooney! And then she learnt there was one condition.

Octavia didn't tell Sofia about the phone call. She forgot all about it because she wanted to woohoo with Sofia and they had to travel to the hotel next door.

Next day Sofia was relaxing at the pool again, but Octavia thought about the phone call. Suddenly she was enthusiastic about the wedding and wanted to organise everything. That's why they decided to introduce Octavia to the rest of Sofia's family and friends.
They met Sofia's sister Elsa who lived in San Myshuno with Billie Jang.

Elsa thought it was crazy to get married so soon! She hadn't even met Octavia before!

But Sofia assured her she had made the right choice and Octavia was very sweet.

Elsa did like Octavia a lot when they were introduced to each other.
Then they visited Venessa Jeong. Sofia left Octavia to watch tv with Miko, but it was a bit awkward at first, because Miko was very depressed about something and didn't pay any attention to Octavia but just muttered by herself. After a bit they had a nice little chat though. Sofia went to the kitchen to talk with Venessa.

Venessa said she wouldn't be able to attend the wedding. It was summer, the sun was shining almost every day unbearably and she had to stay inside till the nightfall. Then she started to do the dishes, though Sofia had sat at the table and would have still wanted to catch up with her. It was a bit awkward and soon Sofia went to get Octavia and they left.
It was time to meet Luna.

Luna lived in San Myshuno too and, like everyone else, she also thought Octavia was great.

It was all fun until Luna's dad decided to join them. Octavia and Sofia realised it was already very late and it was time to go home.

The following morning Octavia was a bit tense and wanted to take a mud bath. The sunglasses were perfect to support the cucumbers. Octavia wondered whether the fortune was actually a scam. Everyone knew about their engagement after all. Was Diego Lobo trustworthy? What did he have to do with all this?
Sofia wanted Octavia to meet Morgan Fyres (they had been friends already when Sofia still lived in Windenburg), so she called her and asked her to come visit. Holly Alto was both Sofia and Octavia's friend and Sofia also invited her.
Morgan had already arrived when Sofia got a call from Holly.

Sofia was puzzled. She said no and explained that she was going to get married with Octavia.

Soon Holly was at their door and Octavia, who had no idea Holly had asked Sofia out, went to greet her. Octavia was stressed about the wedding organisations and told her about the phone call with Diego Lobo. Holly stared at her weirdly and didn't say much.

Sofia and Morgan joined them and they had a nice time.
Then it was time to decided the wedding place. Sofia and Octavia visited a couple of places such as Myshuno Meadows.

Sofia enjoyed the fireworks, but Octavia wasn't happy with the place.

They were getting desperate until Octavia spotted a promising place in Brindleton Bay, the Heartswithe Hall.

It was raining when they arrived, but nothing could crush Octavia's optimism.

And finally Octavia turned to Sofia and said happily: "This is it!"

It's funny that their fans seemed to be more elated than them.
