Option to turn on tv and off tv without sim physically going over there to turn it on/off

I think we should have an option where we can turn on/off the tv without our sims. I’m not sure if we already have this option or not but if we don’t, I think we should. We have that option for the radios, so we should get it for the TVs as well. I thought of this idea because my sim was making dinner and my toddler came down to watch tv. Well I couldn’t turn it on because she was busy cooking. That’s when this idea came to mind.
