@AdamsEve1231 so I did a CC-free version of him just for the challenge. So he looks a little different then he normally does in my game. I have to admit I like it quite a bit and I am going to have to update his style in my upcoming McGinnis Legacy posts. Hi there, my name is Collin. Collin McGinnis. I am the eldest of triplets -- first one out! heh-- and son to the founder of the Newcrest Project Neighborhood/Mayor, Adaleigh McGinnis and reknown Chef, Laurent McGinnis. Currently my middle, younger brother is residing Mayor of the Newcrest Project and our youngest sister, Laura, is a Working Artist in San Myshuno. Emphasis on the working and not starving as she says. Anyway, sorry for rambling. The point of this is to tell you about me.
Right now, I am a new uncle, and an opening Act in the Newcrest and the surrounding areas as a violinist. Music, is an outlet and a passion. It always has been but recently it has become so much more. You see... I don't know how to say this but well, a few months ago, I was jilted.
You see... my entire life I thought I knew what I wanted. Growing up as the eldest with your mother as Mayor, you figure, well, soon that will be my responsability. People expect it of you. You begin to expect it of yourself. And then... it turns out that its not that simple as that. Cameron won the rights to be Mayor. He's more organized then I could ever be. And Laura... Laura knew from the time we were kids that Art was her thing. But I... I mean I always loved to play Violin but... well, I thought that it would be just a hobby.
When Cam took over as Mayor of the Newcrest Project, I had to find myself all over again. So I turned back to music, got myself a job. Laura moved out, Cam got married and things just moved forward. Around me. I had a girlfriend, since high school, heck we had been dating longer then Cam and Mads and they were married and now expecting their first kid. So I figured, maybe it was time to move that forward. Maybe I could have a happy family like my mother and father and, now my little brother, and my music and life would feel like it was moving forward with me . Love Day would be the perfect day to do it. I planned as I never planned and I thought everything was perfect. From the food, to the thousands of candles I lit, to the song I wrote...and never played.
Turned out... I was wrong to expect. Again. Myla... she couldn't even tell me why she said no. She just... shook her head, pushed my ring away and... walked out. Left me in the showcase house that I had begged Cam to loan me the keys to just for that night. We haven't spoken in the months since. Both of us too embarassed from the moment I think. Now she's CEO of her family business, Landgraab Enterprises, I hear.
So once again I find myself lost. I suppose that's why I thought to apply to this show. I hoped that maybe with the change of scenery I could find myself again. I believe in love and in marriage and more then anything I want to find a partner who believes in those things too. I am looking for a woman who is decisive and confident and also patient. I have a...strange sense of humor, in my teen years I was rather on the mischeivous side. There's nothing like a good prank to make you laugh. But also, I am still finding my way through this song we call Life.
So Breanna, I hope to get to know you and I hope that you will give me a chance to get to know you as well. I'm still writing my song, but I hope that when I get to the end... it will turn out to be a beautiful duet.
