So, this happened today when my sim was somehow randomly struck by lightning twice She had the ability to summon bolts of lightning for almost half a day afterwards, it was awesom...

I was happy when I first saw it, sad, that it's useless, like I can't use those powers to smite other sims, or recharge an electronic device, or become a power source tp provide electricity to a home or neighborhood without power or anything... so why even bother?
Again, happy because the visuals of the animations and graphics is appealing for when Magic becomes a thing.
The way I choose to see it, it has to do with "legitimacy" in how you obtain power.
I have to be bias and say, save those awesome unique powers for the Sorcerer Life State.
