Photographer Career

I really wish there is more we can do in our sims world with the camera. Like in the sims3 when we could take certain pictures and they became achievements, i.e Buildings, flowers, even sims in action.
Then of course wish there was a job in photography either self employed photographer or work for a magazine taking pictures. I mean we do have the camera the set up of a studio all ready to go why cants we do more with them???
  • I agree! I like to have as many options as possible in my sims game and photography would be pretty sweet. I especially like the idea of being a freelance photographer as a career or taking and selling photos in a photo studio.. we have the ability to take other sims pictures in the photo studio object with the photography skill. Why can't we have it so it could be a career as well? I guess you could do this in a retail store but somehow doesn't feel the same

I don't understand why it aint part of the game already we have the studio set up and can take pictures of other sims.

We should be able to have challenges like take a picture of a certain sim around town and publish it that's how you would gain progression to be promoted

Yeah, at this point having the camera and the photography skill, aside from personal use, seems relatively pointless. I never spend much time with photography, but I always want to. It's so labor intensive, however. Especially when I'm playing a household with numerous sims. I'm too involved in each of my sims life to let them do anything without my say so. Lol.
  • Hopefully they will bring some more careers out in the future and photography will be included
  • Absolutely! Imo, every skill in game should have a career, aspiration, or both attached. Right now there's no motivation to really pursue the photography skill.

Maybe it could be incorporated into the Social Media career in City Living, or just be another Work From Home option? Like, Photo Journalist seems like a natural fit for that one...
