I’ve finally got Victor and Ali settled (however unhappily) into their apartment. Pictures soon to follow, I promise; but I’m away from my computer again right at the moment. :p
https://i.imgur.com/YKVsfHq.png It seems the pair's differences were more important (and annoying) than they first thought when planning to move in together. Victor is a 'big picture' sort of fellow and prone to leaving projects and mess around. Alison is very organized and neat.

@NRowe off to a great start - those angry/tense moods really are intense in the beginning lol. It's so fun navigating the apartment life too, with all the neighbors and other issues. And by fun I mean kind of annoying lol but it adds a fun element to game play

I suddenly have an unexpected development. It comes in the form of the inheritance call. You know the one "Money money money..." or "Under what conditions..." I usually respond based on the story and the characters in it. In this case Victor has received the call and I feel he may be gullible enough, plus it will add a certain element to the scenario. However it is only day two and I don't think I've managed to get any Sims married in game, let alone in a week from a poor relationship... Wondering if I should maybe give it a bit of a shot (I mean, if they don't get hitched they're no worse off...)
Awesome @permanentrose. FYI I, too, accepted blindly (i.e. they wont get money without marrying) but Victor and Ali are still not on proper speaking terms, yet.
Also, Vlad came back. This time he got in the front door but then he couldn't get to either Sim because the bedrooms were locked. :D :D :D

Great tips about the club. I just started one after reading this. Let's see if it helps. So far I haven't been able to improve the friendship bar. I have given them a few days to get over the shock and focus on getting on with their lives.
