I disagree. I think the pool should be a family space. Save it for the hot tub.
It's not like we would ask for being able to woohoo in the pool you know. But cuddling and kissing should be available while swimming. Right now it's boring as all you can do is swim laps, splashing and chat. I remember we had mattresses on Sims 3 so we can sunbathe on the water. It would be nice to have it back and if they could add a romance interaction to it as well as a mischief one (Like overturning it to make the sim on it splash in the water) that would be even better :)
