Pool Party SP idea

I like it! I'd also suggest floaties arm bands and/or lifejackets for infants and toddlers, the ability for parents/grandparents/teen siblings to carry these littlest Sims around in the pool, and pool goggles as CAS assets for all ages. Maybe even water pistol/super soaker fights? I think it would be more realistic if infants, toddlers and children had to learn how to swim, but that might be asking for more than a stuff pack is capable of.

LOL I suggested diving boards and slides before I saw this. I like your ideas and would embrace them all!

It seems like every few months someone mentions something similar to what you posted. I really hope the sims team pays attention bc this is clearly something that is highly requested.

I really want a pool party event and pool floats for infants/toddlers/kids.

The ability to create shallow pools and above ground pools would also be nice additions.

I also think some sort of kids water play ground would be nice, similar to the pirate ship but with water features meant to be placed in a shallow pool.

I would love this, but I would go either further. Why not a water park pack? Building advanced slides of various heights. Life guard towers that are manned by NPC life guards. Children's pools. Platforms in pools. Stairs in pools. Different kind of jumping towers, jumping blocks and trampolines. Definitely more games and activities in the water, especially for kids. Pool bars. Pool toys for kids. Definitely second pool party event.

I feel like most of the comments here involve way more content than we ever received in a stuff pack, even the later ones. I think we should either scale up @JAL 's idea and have full on Water Park Game Pack with a water park world with a usable monorail or other transit system for traveling around the park, as well as semi active careers for sims who want to work at the park. Maybe a hotel for taking a water park vacation, as well as all of the other things you five have suggested.

Or we could scale down @Mak27 's idea and have a stuff pack with a pool party and maybe Marco Polo/Sharks and Minnows, lots of swimwear with floaties as accessories, and various pool objects.

A water park vacation spot for the whole family would be lovely.

I would be happy with a stuff pack. I don't think what the OP posted along with things like pool floats for various age levels, pool games, and a pool bar is too much for a stuff pack. Maybe a GP?

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around a full Waterpark EP just because I'm not sure how that would work in a closed world. I suppose the world map could be set like a park map with several very large lots that can be edited with different rides.

I think at one point there was a survey that included something along the lines of a Waterpark. Anyone remember that?

A swimming pool bar could be included in a Hotel GP/EP. Maybe new bars and bbq stuff could be added as well!

I wouldn't need a world, just good game play and animations. It could either be a new venue type (waterpark), or an update to the pool venue that we already have. What I want most are good build items, that lets you design your own slides by putting them together in different ways. Slides that are functional and look good in game. Along with lots of other things that might be used in a water park. Lifeguard seats with NPC lifeguards. A waive machine. Platforms and stairs being usable in the pool. A sloping platform so you could have shallower and deeper ends of the pool. Different size and type of trampolines. Toys to play with. Hot tubs and bars that are placeable in the water. Things like teaching a child to swim, or sending kids to swimming schools. Curved pools. More creative ways to make pools look like likes or beaches.

Add a few downloadable lots in the gallery like with restaurants and spas, and I'm good. No need for an entire world for one water park. Knowing EA the water park will be huge and the objects impossible to use elsewhere and most of it rabbit holes if that's the case. No thanks. Give me the option to put the water park wherever I want it to be and to build my own.

I like your idea. I feel like with the way EA does things the pieces would be huge with or without a world and it would be difficult to flesh out a whole Waterpark within even a 64×64 lot. I could be wrong though. I do agree though I would want to be able to build my own, not like the massive ski resort stuff we have in SE

I wonder what the chances are of ever seeing larger than 64x64 lots.

Either way I think the things you mentioned would bring a lot to the game in terms of gameplay.
