Whenever I have parties, it seems that room attracts almost all my guests. It is so annoying. I would rather have my guests hang out within the house or outside where the pool and bar are. Plus I really do not want other sims to be going into my skills rooms. I also believe that doors, rooms, should have the option to set it for a particular sim. I really liked that no other sim could enter the room.
It isn't realistic, but you could go into Build and delete the door. I've done that before.
