Question about roof design (new patch?)

How come suddenly, when I place two roofs next to each other, the walls overlap? I don't remember this being the case earlier (before last patch?)? Is there a solution to this? I absolutely hate the wall glitching...

Either it changed or I am really dumb and somehow always missed this ^_^'
