I would like to start a new thread, where we can ask our questions to builders who are a little more experienced and would know the answer, if they could kindly share. I'll start:I made restaurants with bars, but bartenders do not automatically fill my restaurant builds, where I have found and played many off the gallery which do auto-fill. How do you get staff also like pianist and entertainers to auto fill without having to shell out money as a visitors for them.Would also help me if there was a way to autofill cater, like in a motel situation, if there is any at all. For motel with catering I think it should be possible to achieve with the university or highschool cafeteria and the community recreation center or community space lot types.Pianists and entertainers don't spawn automatically on restaurant lots, but they do on lounge lot type. You could set-up your restaurant like usual, include a bar and everything else required also for lounge and when you want an entertainer without paying for them you could play it as a lounge. You can order quite a lot of dishes from the bar too. Not sure why your restaurant doesn't spawn a bartender, could be a mod conflict if you play with CC and mods.

Thank you @crocobaura - I will have to do a test play to find the mod. CC would be impossible. I have 10'of thousands.@Caerfinon Oh how I loved that mod- When I used it in the past, lots were lit and bustling. After cottage living update, Little Miss Sam's mods don't work for me, in fact cause more issues, like endless lag and not fuctional game play. Her discord said to remove certain file and I did, with no luck.

Bars: Try building without moveobjects on. Use a non CC bar. Only one bar will have a bartender on the lot if you have multiples placed. This will help troubleshoot the issue since you mentioned it works fine with Gallery builds.As for LittleMsSam mods, their script mods require XML Injector Mod to work. I've been trying to convert properties in Newcrest.

Just thought thatr my mods/cc might be the issue so was just about to change my settings and try that, so what happens.

Switching off mods/cc did the trick. I now have the joyous task of going through all of them to see what one is causing the issue, what fun :|

Ah, forgot to mention.

One tip for those building for the Gallery is that for each unit, the name and the amount of bath and bed rooms won't be uploaded, but the lot traits and challenges and the outline color for each unit will be uploaded.

Yes, you can change the outline color. In the unit configuration panel, simply click on the color. Two units can share the same outline color!

@BearyBry when you come across the culprit file, please let us know which it was.

I had this issue with wedding venues - the come up generic or as the previous lot type in older worlds like Willow crrek

The mod that was causing me issues was Basemental Venue List.

I'm going through all the rest of my mods and cc to see if there are any other issues, though I can't think of any others that I have that would have the same effect.

@BearyBry Omg I tried Basemental mods and whoa was that fun, but the very next official sims 4 update broke all my doors. Ever since I can't use that mod because the same problem occurs even if I try updated versions. I love how the official game is keeping my sims in check. Lucky you if you can get it to work.

For rent, I assume each apartment needs a fire alarm. but does each unit needs it's own sprinkler system or is one for the entire lot good enough?

why when I try to share something to the gallery or my library, it messes things up. Who knocked these corner cabinets out of placed and I used the corner piece!@#
