Rags to Riches challenge??
I watched a video by The sim supply on youtube and one of his videos was doing rags to riches and it seems like lots of fun. Anyone do it? How did you do yours?

I rarely let a sim start out with funds. I like to buy them an empty plot of land and cheat their funds to zero. Usually I will let them make money in line with the story I have in mind for them and sometimes there will be additional "rules" like no painting/writing or no gathering of minerals/metals. I also did a few strictly gardening rags to riches, which got harder recently due to a patch and harvestables not becoming more valuable over time - makes it more fun, in my opinion. Playing this way is so rewarding to me, as you really appreciate being able to afford simple things, like a bookcase or a shower.
