Random Ideas

Here's my list of things I'd like to see in Sims 4:

- Preteens or shorter teens (the size gap between teens and children is awkward)
- Clothing, makeup, hair, etc interchangeable between male and female
- More children clothing and hair options (they get neglected)
- More curly/ethnic hair options
- More hair colors (strawberry blonde, really light brown, more gray tones, etc)
- More eye colors
- Ability to choose second color on multicolored hair
- Ability to choose accessory colors (belts, trim, undershirts, etc)
- Undershirts as a separate layer
- Ability to choose separate colors on furniture (such as choosing bedding and bed frame colors separately)
- Ability to change hair color between outfits
- More historical/costume options
- Ability to make drag queens/kings, such as interchangeable hair/clothes/makeup, being able to change body shape between outfits or have costumes that are padded, etc
- More professions, such as teacher, actor, singer, stylist, librarian, architect, adults being able to have teen jobs, etc
- Assigning a sexual orientation to Sims (option to restrict who Sims flirt with when autonomous)
- Being able to make Sims in different households related
- Being able to set dating relationships in CAS
- Shy trait in CAS (less extreme than Loner)
- Aspiration of wanting happiness/peace
- More musical instruments (especially smaller pianos)
- Ability to assign Sims' pronouns

  • I see someone is very progressive here! The only thing is, I don't think there is anything in the game restricting you from doing any of these, it just isn't a definite option. Such as setting your sim's sexual orientation: it isn't something you can choose from a list but in the Sims world no one cares! Love is love.

I am definitely a huge supporter in the expansion of our Sims' musical lives. I'd love to see the entire orchestra introduced into the game!
All the woodwinds, brass, the rest of the strings. I think it would add a great depth to the game as well as some new professions. The Sims could even start their instrument practice in elementary school like we all did!
  • Also...

    - Plain colored henley shirts (so many characters I make wear plain henleys and I hate using the duo colored one)
    - More items that can go on shelves (so many many items that should be able to can't)

YES! I agree so much! Especially on these features! Like I want my guys to wear skirts or heels sometimes, but am not that into CC and the make up options are really plain compared to the female options. Since TS3 basically had the same options for male and female I was really disappointed upon finding out that they reduced male make up.

And we really need some large nice curls for our sims. (And maybe some dreads or braids for our male sims?) The afro puffs we got for kids are really nice, but I'd love to have them for older sims, too. (I saw them converted, but again, not very much into CC)

About pronouns, I'd really love that. I mean they can insert names so why not pronouns? (I don't know anything about coding so I'm not sure if it's actually that easy lol)

Something I've been thinking about, that mostly likely will NEVER happen (sadly), is introducing a kind of hormon therapy for transgender Sims that gradually changes their voice and features. (similar to Sims slowly gaining weight with age)

Oh, and some nice skinny jeans maybe haha??
  • -Body Hair
    -More Tattoos and Piercings
    -Gaming Console
-Highlights option in the Hair Menu
    -Purple Hair Color
    -Werewolves
    -Toddlers
    -Plantsims
    -Wizards/Witches
    -Vampires
    -Fairies
    -Robots
    -Zombies
    -Victorian, Gothic, and Medieval clothing

    Some things to add. :)
  • I want a create a world option. And the option to make a medieval world or a futuristic one. Instead of seeing cars, we'll see horses or something that fits the world we're building. And not just European type worlds because we see that often already.
  • Yay! Some of my suggestions have happened! That's exciting! So, I'm back with more suggestions...

    - Cultural clothing (i.e. hijab, kimono, hanbok, sari, etc)
    - Ability to edit/create babies in CAS
    - More jobs that you can travel with your Sim to
    - More interactions with babies (it would be nice to be able to carry them around, but that's probably too hard)
    - Supernatural characters (i.e. vampires, werewolves, ghosts you can create in CAS without tricks...)
    - And the common requests: toddlers, seasons, pets, open world, university, etc

    Yes, yes please!
  • Back with another random idea...

I want lots of school stuff, especially for a Teacher career. I'm a teacher in real life, so I'd love my Sim to be one, too. It would be really great if it was a job you could follow your Sim to and if you had choices for what level you teach. (I teach elementary.) Included with this would be following kid/teen Sims to school, university options, and teacher themed clothes/hair. I would love a hairdo or accessory with a pencil tucked behind the ear, and lanyards with name badges/keys/whistles.

  • I'd like to see additional fitness in the game other than just treadmills, bench-presses and punching bags. What about exercise bikes and rowers (the original kind with the long lever-like handles)?
