Chapter One is so very beautifully written! @ChrinnieSims šŸ™‚ It was so great the way you described how Skyker was feeling, his emotions, his memories, the surroundings  and also the situation.
I hope that his move to Sulani will bring happiness into his life.

@ChrinnieSims Very well written. I lost my mom a couple of years ago and the way you wrote that felt very real and very familiar. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with Skyler in Sulani.šŸ™‚

What a heartbreaking opening. To lose parents at such an early age, his grandfather and then his grandmother.

Your writing is beautiful. I could vividly see the scene unfold as I read and smell the fresh-baked cookies.

Hoping things get better for Skyler in Sulani.

  • @simgirl1010 what wonderful things to say about my writing.  You know I appreciate that with all my heart.  Thank you so very much.

Well, Skyler's going on an adventure.  That's about all I can say.  I have a basic outline of this whole store written down, and, well, it's going to get interesting.

So, I've been busy creating some sims to repopulate Sulani.  I was trying not to lean too far into premade townies for this one, but some will still be around in some form.  Lemme introduce you to the new characters you're going to meet.

The Kalawaia siblings are neighbors.  Manu is... well.... you'll get to meet him next chapter and see who he is.

The Akana family are also neighbors (but in Sulani, that's literally everyone, so yeah), but the mother left one day and never came back.  Iolani is.... someone you'll learn about later.

The Inouye family are old family friends of Skyler's mother's family.

The Kamealoha family are the last remaining relatives that Skyler has left, all from his mother's side.  His uncle Noa, Aunt Maile, cousin Kaimana, and cousin Nalani.

It is lovely seeing all the sims characters  that you have created that you will be in your story šŸ™‚ It is great reading a little bit about  their background details and how they will fit into the story, as neighbours, family friends  or family members.

I look forward to seeing them šŸ™‚

So glad to see Skyler isn't alone in the world. Love how you've introduced your characters first and already have us wondering what role they'll play.

@rosemow I appreciate your positive replies.  They're so encouraging.

@simgirl1010 Well, I hesitated before doing this because I didn't want to give away too much, but I'm glad that it's building suspense and not just squashing curiosity.  I'm also probably getting rid of most of the Sulani townies that are housed...... just because I don't want them randomly showing up and interrupting everything lol.

@DaniRose2143 The character bios are kind of a WIP due to the fact I don't want to give the future away.  But as chapters are written and posted, character bios will then be updated on the site with the events worth recording in their bios as time goes on.  Not right away, mind you, but eventually.  And, obviously, they'll become spoilers for those who come to this later down the road... so I've warned people LOL.
