Part 6: Learning from the Lady
In the “Ambrosia Society” Newsletter, Lucifer finds out he can graft one of his lilies and snapdragons to create an orchid. He can also graft a pomegranate from an apple and cherry. It now made sense why he needed to do some planting.
Lucifer notices a book sitting next to the contraption that summons the Grim Reaper. He knew that wasn’t there before. It’s a big brown book. The cover reads, “The Green Lady’s Lost Tome”. This intrigues Lucifer and he picks it up and opens the cover.
Once thought lost in the Von Haunt Estate fire in 1898, this treatise contains the secrets to making Ambrosia and appears to have been authored by Lady Mimsy Alcorn Shallot herself. Reading from Mimsy’s book, Lucifer is feeling more confident in his cooking and fishing.
Lucifer continues to make sweets and sell them to the locals. This round, he creates different flavored scones and macarons. The scones were a better seller than the macarons.
