Reno your life or else.(pics and challenge update)

These usually aren't that popular for me the last time I did this was a few years ago it is pretty simple I think.

You need to fix up an old house while raising your family at the same time and no making things too easy.

Can live anywhere on any lot but you have to start in winter on long within the game definition, so long life 28 day seasons, start with a single sim or a couple. One in either situation must be a klepto, if cheating any traits just for fun parenting may only go to 2 and mischief to 4 or 5 makes it a little less dull but not really needed. you may only attempt twice every couple of days or once every day. Should you get caught you've lost that chance.

You need a bathroom and to section up the house a bit with a basic floorplan that can be changed but come on not just a box with openings. you can also place things that would be more entertaining to try and steal, all must be done before you actually play though this is time for editing, the final cheat is to clear out any money you didn't use throwing together a wrecked-by-time "home".

A single sim can get to know a love interest for a couple of days and look for collectibles only two travels a day and if you don't find anything no money.

No jobs allowed, or high-paying hobbies, only collectiables can be used for money, with frogs both sims can get two for breeding but they are locked in whatever you find you need to keep and only the results of the breeding may be sold.

While fixing up the house if the wallpaper is sold (seems to do that when adding a wall to a once halfway location) just put the exact wallpaper back to keep track of how much you really have, no easyouts. Speaking of capsules must be opened.

If pets are preferred one child must be born to the parents and raised in full because you need more hands for frogs mmhmm.

The first checkpoint is to last the Winter and see how far you get but if you have not completed the house you can continue it's not really a stressful thing just a road to follow. However, at most one sim year if you still haven't done it then that is a loss, just like any kids being taken away or unnatural deaths.

I mean not sure if anyone wants to try but I'll be sharing what I'm doing, also it goes without saying if you fish up something particularly valuable then you must keep it in the family inventory.

  • I thought I updated this last time, they have another bedroom and it is Winter 18, now I bet you thought this was done.

Why would it be easy, in reality just pacing yourself one season of crazy? Really not that hard, this is of course optional and I have not decided if it is for them but it has been a long time since I used that family.

Anyways surviving Winter is technically the main point, if the house is still not complete to your standards continue, but gen 2 should you choose the path is when you can change lifespan. The last time was my Howard's legacy and I shared them many times but still quite some time and many save files ago some of them are even still on the gallery.

List from this point on in the new house the eldest gets their own place but the two after must be anywhere else not too many paychecks allowed.
Gen 1( included because they need more struggle): when the first three moved out I had them have more kids and they all lived in the needs tlc apartment after leaving the house I built them once their creation was complete and acceptable. You don't have to build a house, you can use a premade one but what does a family of 8 really need? One bedroom and a bathroom to share, never a house that wouldn't make sense. :p :D
Gen 2: pick a random sim not in world to move in, change the settings now but at the time any opposite you can have kids with, romance them and work on having a kid within the next few days, in a better apartment with dead end jobs so you can't really afford to do much else. Don't focus on skills or tasks go in late come home early, you're not going anywhere.
Gen 3: Feel free to cheat some money if you like, only one parent works, be the unknown lover break up a relationship as you just pick the first person that walks past the house you are just barely hanging onto, maybe they'll have kids or something else what do you know it's love at first sight you swear. Make this newbie one of the occults, they should live forever to watch you fail....I mean they love you too.
Gen 4: break up a known marriage, I chose the Goths as I changed the aging as I said in the beginning so they had time even though Bella was older, then...I drowned her I think after she had a kid. It didn't matter because he was cheating on her with a coworker and they each had a kid, she was an alien, and they didn't stay together he kept the kids I just ignored them. Basically, you're a lost cause.
Gen 5: A break, kind of, you get to be normal....but wait you love two different people, by now you've learned you can't just coast you need money. both loves need a house, preferably right next to each other so you may have more kids with each and support them.
Gen 6: ends at childhood because they know they have no future, okay it wasn't that dramatic the family got so bugged I couldn't get any further but I was pretty proud of it.

Like I said I am plotting to see if I will save them and let them have the easy out or if it's time to mess up some generations for them, the family before them I was raising the kids beyond the house so they got off lucky and I'm not sure this one should. But if you happened to be enjoying this do stay tuned, I am remembering just how much fun it was to mess with their lives. The game was playing along, I still remember some of the gen 2 kids survived to elderhood until the wedding for gen 4 and they made their own decision, they passed one after the other right after he kissed his bride.

Sooooo see you when I decide.
