Last night, we had a birthday party at the restaurant! It went way better than I imagined although it forever to get our drinks. I opened the restaurant hours before they arrived, and when they got there we almost had a full house, and still had a 3.5 star rating! The staff was gracious and performed well despite there being 9 Pruetts in the house! LOL I gave everyone that raise I mentioned, but ummmm…they think Jonathan needs to focus on the business! Busted lol. I guess they notice he only works 3 days a week LOL.
This is so great. I can't wait to see the birthday party. I love that they had it at Jonathan's restaurant. And I'm really tickled at the feedback from the staff. Just wait until he has 3 restaurants, all his employees will be complaining, lol.
Oh geez, right? Hopefully once they max out their skills they'll be more comfortable on their own! I'm noticing that while the restaurant actually hasn't made any money while he's not there, the rating hasn't declined. All that training is paying off! The nice thing about opening the restaurant off lot is that when you do actually make it to the lot, half of the tables are full! No one is eating anything, but the place is filled with guests lol.
I decided at the last minute to have the birthday party there. His daughter has been enamored with the restaurant in the story, so it made perfect sense to have her party there. Aww man! You know what I forgot to do? I've been over getting gold medals for weddings and birthdays (and dates) because I've done it so many times lol. So, I didn't do a prestige event but I should have so I could see if the goals for the party are different because of the location. I wonder if there are any restaurant specific goals. Oh well. Next time!
