Fear and tense are far from the same emotion though. Reactions to fear would be things like sweating, increased heart rate, and high adrenaline levels which would play out so much different than tense which should show up with Sims looking more tight or stressed. A scared Sim might cry, scream, refuse to do activity, cover their eyes while watching horror or hide in their bed while a tense Sim might be quick to anger one does not cover the other. But yes fears would be great such as fear of ghost aliens vegans and vampires or even things like swimming climbing the rock wall and so on.
